Lefferts was closed left and right in South Richmond Hill

The NYPD closed off Lefferts Blvd this morning around 5am reporting a robbery leading to one person shot. This is by 101st Avenue in South Richmond Hill. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital. Police described the suspect as male, black who took off toward southbound.

So far no arrests.

ESU recovered shell casings.

Lefferts Blvd opened in time for rush hour traffic in both directions.

The investigation continues.
