Pitino era starts tonight in Fresh Meadows

There is a university called St John's on Union Turnpike in Fresh Meadows and their basketball team is well known as Red Men.

Tonight at 7pm, the team will face Stony Brook in the season opening with their new head coach. A tall suave handsome popular man named Rick Pitino. Pitino was the first head coach to win a men's National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I national championship with two different schools, the University of Kentucky in 1996 and the University of Louisville in 2013. The last time St. John's was in the NCAA tournament was in 2019.
