Phase 1 set to open in NYC on June 8

Despite not meeting all 7 criteria currently, NYC is set to open Phase 1 on June 8. Cuomo stated the criteria is on track to meet the goal of re-opening. This statement was said by Cuomo after Mayor de Blasio was at the press briefing via video. Cuomo stated next week, hospitals will speed up contact tracing up, MTA will finish final preparations and then focus on hot spots. The state is working with the city to re-open on the date.
