Patient stole ambulance in Long Island

Police are in Stony Brook reporting a patient being transported to a local hospital ended up stealing the ambulance. This is on Nicolls Road.

Police followed the ambulance and stopped by Oaks Street in the vicinity of the hospital.

The patient is now labeled as EDP is being taken to hospital for mental health.

Then the Suffolk County DA will think of the charges after coming back from Memorial Day for work.
