Memorial Day rules from the Mayor

The NYC Mayor's Office stated for Memorial Day, no barbequing on the streets including setting up tables or other features. As for sidewalks, it's up to the selected areas such as Roosevelt Avenue from Flushing to Sunnyside where animals are roasted for sale by some without permits. They are protected by local elected officials.

As usual, $25 will be enforced for open bottles containing itty bitty alcohol.

Also, fireworks are illegal.
