Over half a million residents left NY to other states

The US Census reported over 500,000 NY residents left the state including NYC last year to other states.

Here is the list announced where they went,

Florida: 91,201

New Jersey: 75,103

Connecticut: 50,670

Pennsylvania: 44,807

California: 31,25

Texas: 30,890

North Carolina: 25,024

Massachusetts: 21,186

Virginia: 17,516

Georgia: 16,535

South Carolina: 15,537

Illinois: 12,072

Maryland: 9,453

Two main reasons are high crime and taxes.

Rent, grocery, transportation were next list.

Socialist agendas raising funds from taxpayers was also in the list.

Manhattan has been plagued by a rise in murders, rapes and robberies over the past year, driving people out over concerns for their personal safety.

Only 163, 416 new residents moved to NY last year and half were from other countries.

Lastly, the census data which tracked the 545,598 people leaving New York comes with a margin of error of 21,535, meaning the real figure could be as high as 567,733.
