Only 7 bucks with love from ConEd

The NYS Public Service Commission approved the new rate hike for ConED to charge their customers by 3.5% this year, then another 3.2% in 2027 and another 3.1% for 2028. The rate was approved unanimously which will increase to around $7 average this year. Then more next and the following year for electricity.

For gas, the increase is 4.4% this year, next year is 5.7% and then in 2028 it will increase to 5.6% comes around $10 a month.

ConEd proposed a higher rate hike but the governor ordered to reject that addressing to the public commission.

It's all part of the inflation adjustment blaming the Trump administration due to the high cost of oil.

All that with love from NY so don't complain but pay. A new mechanism has been enforced to speed up pay or electric cut off which ConEd sent to over 1 million customers in NYC alone according to the Mayor's office.

This is not something the government can help you so pay up.
