One stretch block in Bayside reported car windows smashed

From Tuesday night onward, residents of Bayside called police after car windows were broken into with items missing. This is on 46th Avenue next to Oakland Lake.

The local precinct told residents to call the insurance companies for reimbursements and there is no investigation as of today.

A police source stated as long as there are no injuries to anyone involved, there is no investigation. Under the former mayor de Blasio, non-injuries and property damages are not a police investigation unless a witness is present to make a case.

The current Mayor has not made any changes.

So in another word, if your car is broken into, deal with it on your own. Enjoy.
