One sad day for kids around tragedy in Queens

The NYPD reported a one month old baby girl died in Long Island City this morning around 6:30am a worst nightmare for parents. The parents told police their family dog may have jumped to the bed where the baby was sleeping after being found with dog bites. The medical examiner transported the body to determine the cause of death after conducting an autopsy. The parents are cooperating with the police.

On Monday around 1:30pm, a hit and run was reported in Jackson Heights. This is at the intersection of 37th Avenue and 73rd Street where a driver took off according to a witness. EMS transported two kids, aged 4 and 8 years olds to a local hospital now in stable condition.

Today around 1pm, EMS transported a victim after a baby inside a stroller struck by vehicle at the intersection of Eliot Avenue and Lutheran Avenue.

Also today around 8:30am, police were on a rescue mission on the Grand Central Parkway reporting a school bus accident with children injured. This is on the eastbound after 188 Street Exit. Over ten injured were taken to local hospitals.

All incidents remain under investigation.
