One person dead after fatal collision on LIE in Fresh Meadows

All lanes closed on LIE eastbound at Clearview Expressway reporting fatal vehicle accident with one dead. It happened around shortly after midnight on Wednesday, October 25. Police reported a male identified as Vishal Kumar,20, was standing outside his vehicle on the shoulder of LIE when another vehicle hit him. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with police. Ongoing investigation.
