One dead and another in critical condition after struck by vehicle in Queens

Police reported 2 separate hit and run incidents in Queens. Around 1am, a male victim was struck by a vehicle on Northern Blvd and 101 Street after being struck by a Nissan Altima. The driver took off without stopping. EMS reported the victim is in critical condition at Elmhurst Hospital. Around 1:45, another male victim was struck by a vehicle on Laurelton Parkway in Laurelton. The 23 year old male was struck by a vehicle near 130th Avenue while walking and died after being hit by a vehicle. Police stated the vehicle that took off is a Dodge Charger, gray color. Both investigations are ongoing.
