One dead after CO incident in Melville

Police reported two people were taken to hospitals after high CO reading around 8:30am. One person died at the hospital.

It happened at a home, 31 Scott Drive in Melville. EMS reported the second person is in critical condition. Ongoing investigation.

Update - the dead identified as Stephen Yancofski, 55, and his wife Kyriaki Bouziotas, 59 remains in the hospital.
