No to love at Randall s Island and Flushing Meadows Corona

But first, read this, Chicago Mayor is proposing a hike in property taxes to build shelters and NYC Mayor got the memo.

The NYC Mayor's Office had its staff check Randalls Islands to house migrants. This is a large soccer field consisting of 600 yards. However, local residents and community activists objected due to the fields reserved for children's recreational activities.

The other location is one corner spot in Flushing Meadows Corona Park by Willow Lake. Several organizations gearing for the US Open have objected despite being far far from the tennis courts. Local civics from Kew Garden Hills don't want the migrants to the already overpopulated activities in the park including nights that have police called on daily basis and across residential housings. However, the facility is close to the Queens Borough Municipal Officers including the borough president who supports migrants which can provide more governmental services.

This is the third busiest public transportation hub after Jackson Heights/74 Street and Flushing Main Street. Sutphin Blvd.-Archer Avenue-JFK Airport is the third busiest public transportation hub in Queens.

Meanwhile, the NYC Health Commissioner had this quote, "The influx of migrants from the southern border is delivering contagious diseases, including tuberculosis and polio, to our neighborhoods."

Most of the local part time NYC and NY elected officials who support migrants and open border want Biden to declare a state of emergency in NYC. As for members of the Congress, no one is responding.

The border will remain open and this week another 2,500 migrants are headed to NYC from Texas. The Mayor won’t release the actual numbers as of yet.
