New bridge to open tomorrow for Union Turnpike crossing the GCP

The long awaited bridge for Union Turnpike in Kew Gardens where construction continue to loom will open a new bridge eastbound tomorrow crossing the Grand Central Parkway. More works are to be done as part of the Dept of Transportation's $365 million revamp project of Kew Gardens Interchange. The bridge will open midnight and the public can attend with or without vehicles. This is on eastbound after the courthouse and Queens Blvd.
