NYPD seeks suspect in armed robbery of Queens business as publics help is requested

The New York City Police Department is seeking an individual connected to a robbery that occurred in Queens earlier this month. The incident took place on August 5 at around 4:50 a.m. at a business located at 187-42 Hillside Avenue, within the jurisdiction of the 103rd Precinct. According to an NYPD Crimestoppers Facebook post, the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded goods from a 26-year-old employee, taking approximately $100 in cash along with additional merchandise from behind the counter.

Individuals with knowledge of the crime. No descriptions of the suspect have been made available at this time, however, investigators are hoping that those in the neighborhood during the time of the early morning robbery will come forward with any observations that might aid in apprehending the person responsible.
