NYPD honors the late school crossing guard

This is from the NYPD,

Today, we are mourning as we grieve the loss of one of our own. School Crossing Guard Krystyna Naprawa, who had served with the NYPD for nearly 13 years, dedicated her life to protecting the most vulnerable. May she rest in peace, and please keep her family in your prayers.

The incident was reported on Friday around 8am in Woodhaven.

The investigation is ongoing.
