Bullet updates in Queens alone had police busy

Weekend hasn't started and already police are busy with cases involving bullets.

After a male was shot in Jackson Heights last night on Broadway and 77th Street, more bullets were reported in Queens. Around 4am, a male was shot in Long Island City. This was by 27th Street and 51st Avenue. EMS transported the bullet victim to a local hospital.

15 minutes later, Northern Blvd was closed after multiple shots fired by suspects. This was by 50th Street in Woodside. Detectives are continuing with the search for bullet victims. Five suspects took off in a vehicle toward eastbound.

Around 7am, police reported multiple shots fired on Broadway in Woodside. This was by Newtown Road.

Also, murder suicide investigation reported in Glendale around 2:45am. A landlord called 911 after hearing shots inside an apartment near Mount Lebanon Cemetery and found a 33 year old male and 39 year old female dead inside. A gun was found next to the male at the scene.

All incidents are under investigation.

On Friday afternoon, the Mayor gave a press ststament on this quote, "Jobs are up, crime is down, and we're delivering every day for every day New Yorkers."

Then taking the weekend off.
