NYPD body cameras to have advanced features in the future

Private companies are developing new technology features as additional to the body cameras that are attached to each member of NYPD. One main feature is facial recognition identifying for warrants outstanding, missing person, wanted for crimes and etc. A date has not been released but expected sometimes in the year 2020 or early 2019. At the same time commercial locations are advised to add more cameras and the city is undertaking more on public streets which can be collected for crimes.
