NYC Mayor is in Queens inspecting trees

After constant complaints of tree roots burden that caused damaged sidewalks, local politicians joined Mayor de Blasio in Queens. The mayor was given outlines of some locations of how trees damaged sidewalks and fines were enforced to homeowners. For homeowners with much needed relief, a plan is underway to enforce the crisis. One major challenge is homeowners facing torts costing thousands in damages to civilians. The mayor reported in a press statement that the city will fix the damaged sidewalks.
