More bullet search in Astoria

Last night around 11pm, police were called to 35th Avenue in Astoria reporting of multiple shots fired. This is by the public housing playground. The suspect is male, black last seen running to the nearest apartment. Detectives are checking for bullet victims. ESU recovered shell casings.

Then a few minutes later, a male was shot in the leg. This is on 27th Avenue and 3rd Street. The suspect, male, black took off on foot. Also, ESU recovered shell casings.

So far no arrests.
