Misdemeanor Underage Alcohol Sale in Oceanside and East Rockaway

The Public Information Office report multiple arrests for Underage Alcohol Sale that were made on Wednesday evening, September 13, 2023, in Nassau County.
According to Police, the Fourth Precinct Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Unit conducted alcohol sale checks at various locations in East Rockaway and Oceanside. Five different locations sold alcohol to underage, undercover, agents. The locations of the illegal sales are:

• Lucky 7’s Gourmet Deli and Grocery, 276 Atlantic Avenue in East Rockaway
• Ultra Mini Mart, 411 Atlantic Avenue in East Rockaway
• Patel Smoke and Convenience, 571 Atlantic Avenue in Oceanside
• BP Convenience Shop, 292 Long Beach Road in Oceanside
• E Smoke Vape Beer Cigar, 3015 Long Beach Road in Oceanside

Each defendant is charged with Prohibited Sale of Alcoholic Beverage: Underage of 21, the seller was issued an appearance ticket, and the premises violation referral was forwarded to the NYS Liquor Authority.
