Minor delays after driver struck and broke crossing gates of LIRR in NHP

The MTA is reporting traffic delays around LIRR crossing near New Hyde Park station of LIRR after a vehicle passed the gate and broke one side.

The driver didn't suffer any injury and the moved back the vehicle for the train to cross. Police have questioned the driver.

The repair crew are working on the scene.
