Merrick man arrested for burglary in Seaford

The Nassau County Police Department reports the arrest of a Merrick man for a Burglary that occurred on Monday, October 14, 2019 at 9:36 P.M. in Seaford.

According to police, while on routine patrol, officers observed the defendant Richard Genoski, 29, of 1756 Hendrickson Avenue, enter a locked rear door of Tarallo Pizzeria at 1700 Washington Avenue. A short time later the defendant was observed exiting the building and was stopped by officers. An investigation began and it was determined the defendant was a former employee of the establishment and was taking an undisclosed amount of cash. The defendant was placed into police custody without incident.

The defendant, Richard Genoski, is charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and will be arraigned on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead. (From NCPD)
