Mayor said one but the Governor said five

Governor Hochul announced in a press brief five cases of Omicron variant in NY. Two in Queens, one in Brooklyn, one in Suffolk County and one in Manhattan.

Of five, one was vaxxed.

The Mayor said only one without press statement.

Now the Mayor is probably dozing off somewhere or having dinner and the Governor stole his spotlight just now after the announcement.

However, the Governor says there is no need to panic.

Here is the Governor's quote, "This is not a cause for major alarm. I need to say that because we do not have enough information. We're not having shutdowns."
