Manhole explosions on Jericho Turnpike in Bellerose

The NYPD closed Jericho Turnpike westbound after Little Neck Parkway reporting manhole explosions. This is by the bus stop near local Starbucks. The MTA is also on the scene awaiting for the utility company to arrive.

Traffic is being diverted to Little Neck Parkway from Jericho Turnpike for now.

The estimated restoration time is not disclosed.
