Man shot near Hillcrest High School identified and possible MS 13 gang member

Police reported the dead man shot on Friday, February 2 on 160th Street near 85th Avenue around 6:30pm has been identified as Oscar Antonio Blanco, 20 of Elizabeth, New Jersey. Police reported the victim may have ties to the MS-13 gang. Blanco was an immigrant from El Salvador and his killing might have been an execution style from the investigation.
