Man arrested for rape in Bellerose

Police reported a male suspect was arrested for rape in Bellerose.It happened on February 2 after midnight when the victim called 911 inside a home on 239 Street near 93rd Avenue. The charge has been reported to third degree after investigation. Police reported both the suspect and victim knew each other. The case is held at Kew Gardens Criminal Court.
