Malone resident arrested for promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child

On August 7, 2025, the New York State Police Troop B Computer Crime Unit arrested Emile M. Samedi, age 51, of Malone, NY, on one count Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child, Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child, Obscenity 3rd Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor 2nd Degree. The investigation revealed that Samedi was sending and receiving images of Child Sexual Abuse Material. He was arrested and transported to SP Malone for processing.

Samedi was arraigned in the Town of Malone Court and was remanded to the Franklin County Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 Cash Bail, $20,000.00 secured bond, or $40,000 partially secured bond. His next appearance is in the Town of Malone Court on August 11th, 2025, at 9:30 AM.

The investigation is still ongoing.
