Major armed robbery in Nassau County

Police are heavy at the London Jewelry in The Wheatley Plaza reporting armed robbery.

This is by Old Westbury.

Multiple suspects at least 4 males wearing all black entered the store and assaulted workers. Then took off with jewels in a getaway vehicle with another accomplices.

Chopper hovering above. Looking for a van that was last seen heading to Glen Cove Road west.

LIE is standstill with heavy delays in both directions searching for the suspects.

Two more vehicles were used in the robbery and police stated heavy guns were displayed.

Ongoing investigation.

Now reporting two suspects jumped out of the vehicle on Northern Blvd hiding somewhere.
