Lyft driver committed suicide in Glendale

Police reported a dead body in Glendale in the back of a Hyndai which had Lyft sign. It happened onn 75th Street and Myrtle Avenue around 4am n March 23.

The 49 year old man was confirmed as a Lyft driver by NYC T&LC and the vehicle plates matched with the record since 2014. He was discovered by a walker next to the cemetery.

The city medical examiner is conducting an autopsy. Police reported no trauma or assault was noted and suicide maybe the factor. Ongoing investigation.
