Long Island man in custody for raping a 11 year old victim

A 20 year old male from the East Hampton was taken into custody and entered guilty plea today for raping a young girl over a year.

As part of the guilty plea, the suspect met the victim when he was 18 and she was 11. The communication started and then in November 2021, sexual discussion started. The same year the next month, the suspect raped the girl for the first time.

From December 2021 to January 2022, the suspect raped the victim eight times. Then the victim told her family member and they reported to the police.

The suspect pleaded guilty to first-degree rape.

His next court date is March 15 for sentence and that's 10 years. Then 15 years of supervison and register as a sex offender.
