Local residents advised to avoid Hillside Avenue in Bellerose

The NYPD confirmed multiple assaults, one person stabbed, two people slashed with minor injuries and police officers injured minor during crowd control. Several police cruisers are also damaged.

The Strategic Response Group (SRG) is now working on the scene with multiple arrests.

This is on Hillside Avenue and 235th Ct in Bellerose.

This was a result of a concert that started today around 12pm and was expected to continue until 7pm. Police were called for crowd control which exceeded the lot. Then by 2pm, a dispute turned into assaults and more police arrived at the scene.

As of now, SRG is dismantling the event and telling all to leave the area.

According to one of the event organizer's quote, "MessFete Monday. J'ouvert time in Queens for the presence of Lady Lava, a popular singer. Come greet y'all."

Another organizer sent the picture seen below but didn't disclose the location but says the event is success and this is the fourth year.

However, the NYPD confirmed the event was not approved by the city or local authorities on the number of ticket holders which exceeded from the agreed.
