Liverpool man arrested on felony charges for crimes committed while working at Cortland dealership

On June 30, 2025, New York State Police at Homer arrested Jason Allen, age 40 of Liverpool, NY for the Class “D” felony of Forgery in the second degree and the Class “D” felony of Grand Larceny in the third degree. 

The arrest stems from an investigation that began on June 19 accusing Allen of embezzling over $13,000 while employed at a Cortland County auto dealership.  Allen is accused of signing referral checks that were intended to go to customers of the dealership and signing the checks over to himself.
