Little Neck bank robbery suspect arrested

On Sunday, October 29, police reported the arrest of Michael Lorenzo, 26 of Kew Garden Hills and charged with robbery in the second degree. Queens DA's office confirmed the charges on Monday, October 30. A detective from 111th Precinct saw wanted poster of Lorenzo which was passed around and recognized him when he was on Bell Blvd and 46th Avenue on October 25 around 4:30pm. When police approached, Lorenzo was questioned. From there, police found stolen identifications, check books, drugs and needles. The robbery at Queens County Savings Bank occurred on October 12 around 3:30pm. Police reported a note was passed for $2,500 but took off with $1,000.
