For Sale signs inside or around vehicles are getting towed in NYC

NYPD is now issuing to the public of immediate towing and summons for vehicles displaying, FOR SALE, sign in NYC. This includes signs using paint markers on the windshields in different color. The legal way to sell a vehicle is to park in private premises such as driveway or garage to conduct business and not on city properties. Also, police are using scanner to match license plate with the vehicle. If not matched, then the vehicle are subjecting to towing.
