LIE reported fatality involving a motorcyclist in Corona

Last night around 12:45am, the NYPD closed the Long Island Expressway westbound by Exit 22 A to the Grand Central Parkway in Corona reporting a fatality involving a motorcyclist. A witness says the motorcyclist was first hit by a vehicle causing to manuevar. Then two more vehicles on the expressway struck the motorcyclist. Additional details were not disclosed. EMS reported the motorcyclist dead on the scene and the medical examiner transported the body to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

All three drivers remained on the scene and continued to cooperate with the police.

The investigation continues.
