Charges are pending at the local precinct in Queens Village

The NYPD reported a 16 year old teen surrendered himself at the local 105th Precinct in Queens wanted in connection to a shooting on Monday in Cambria Heights. On Wednesday afternoon, the 13 year old victim was declared dead at the local hospital.

Charges are pending while working with the Queens DA’s office with the teen’s lawyer today. The incident was reported on Monday around 8:30am on Linden Blvd near Springfield Blvd. Police say the teen surrendered today and attended the local high school nearby while the victim attended another one.

Meanwhile, the NYPD is searching for another suspect wanted for a homicide in East Elmhurst on September 12 where a woman was shot dead by releasing additional pictures. Despite the NYC Mayor saying crime is down, Queens residents don’t feel so.
