Kidnapping suspect arrested in Queens Village held on 5 000 bail

Vladimir Suero, 38 of Brooklyn was held on $5,000 bail after his court appointed lawyer argued while Queens DA's office pressed for higher punishment. Suero told the police he saw a beautiful girl walking down on Jamaica Avenue and wanted to know the reaction but after her mother intervened, he let go and kept walking away. His court appointed lawyer, Maria Martinez has been on public assistance income all his life and rarely has any money to post bail. He lives in the public housing section of Brooklyn.
