Hit and run with driver claims to have bad memory in Glen Oaks

Residents of Glen Oaks Village Co-op called 911 reporting a hit and run on 73rd Avenue and Langston Avenue. It happened on Monday, September 4 around 11pm. Several witnesses reported a white vehicle with T&LC rammed toward several parked vehicle. Another witness saw alcohol bottle inside the vehicle. The driver took off on foot. Police arrived shortly and searched the driver who happen to be a Glen Oaks Village Co-op resident. After finding the driver, he was placed in cuffs for further investigation and told police he wasn't driving the vehicle. The coop residents whose car was parked are now facing major repairs. The investigation is ongoing.
