Inflation expected in both NY and NYC after grants denied

Today, federal court ruled in favor of Trump administration to withhold grants due to classification as sanctuary cities citing undocumented are favored over legal citizens. Governor Cuomo confirmed almost $1 billion will not be available for public health care renewal. The Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment program under Medicaid and Medicare will be discontinued unless tax hike is passed in NY. Also Cuomo was denied in $8 billion in Medicaid waiver funds. Three more programs, congestion pricing, property tax relief and green deal were all denied. Meanwhile, Public Charge Rule went into effect on February 24 for undocumented immigrants who are receiving food, housing, health and cash allowing the fed to deny legal status but continue to receive benefits under sanctuary city from the city's taxpayer fund. For this, the NYC Council proposed 7.5% raise on property taxes which is in the process to continue for the funding.
