Hit and run with one arrest in Fresh Meadows

Police are on Horace Harding Expressway and 164 Street reporting a suspect in custody.

This was from a driver who refused to stop the vehicle after accident in another location.

When police approached, the driver took off on foot from the scene abandoning the vehicle.

Police arrested the driver shortly and charges are pending. Ongoing investigation.
