Heavy fire reported in QV

FDNY reported heavy fire at a location in Queens Village. The fire marshal say around 5pm, call came after smoke emerged in the back of a home. This is on 212 Street near 109th Avenue at the location 32.

The fire extended to the garages of homes causing car fire.

EMS reported injuries from smoke inhalation.

By 6pm, the fire was brought under control.

The cause of fire is under investigation.
