Heavy fire at a commercial location in Hicksville

Firefighters are in Hicksville reporting a heavy fire at a commercial location. This is on East Marie Street at the location number 5.

Firefighters reported a gas leak in the basement resulting fire of a local restaurant. The fire started around 12:15am in Nassau County and still raging with more than 300 firefighters on the scene.

EMS is checking for injuries.

Firefighters are working on the scene.
