Group targeted homes for burglaries in Floral Park Glen Oaks and Little Neck

Police reported almost 10 and 14 burglary attempts from Floral Park to Glen Oaks.

On July 24, a residence on 83rd Avenue near 258 Street reported the incident during daytime.

On July 22, Thornhill Avenue near 251 Street was burglarized. This is in Little Neck.

On July 26, a home was ransacked on Little Neck Parkway and 77th Avenue. The same day a location on 60th Road and 262nd Street in Little Neck.

On July 29, another one on 258 Street and 80th Avenue.

On August 1, a home on 80th Avenue near 262nd Street.

On August 10, a home on 258 Street near 81st Avenue.

On August 12, a home on 256 Street near 84th Avenue.

On August 13, a home on 87th Avenue and 240th Street in Bellerose.

The latest incident is on Langdale Street and 79th Avenue where almost $40,000 worth of items are missing.

Several residents complained of vehicles parked with people inside on the blocks at night time checking around. A resident reported one of the vehicles is a Cadillac sedan, black with two males inside canvassing around for lights and cars at home to alert their cahoots for the next target.

Almost all incidents were daytime and police reported the suspects breaking the windows to gain entry.
