Group of advocates submitted to the city to have car free routes in NYC

The following routes have been submitted to the city to have car free to practice social distancing activities. The Mayor's Office is reviewing the routes and has not responded. They are the following. For local, Francis Lewis Blvd and 73rd Avenue for Cunningham Park, 164 Street for Kissena Park, entire Forest Park and Jackie Robinson Parkway routes, Shore Blvd for Astoria Park, Crotona Avenue and Claremont Avenue for Crotona Park, Mosholu Parkway for Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx Zoo and NY Botanical Garden routes, Bay Street for Red Hook, Lorimer Street for McCarren Park, Margaret Corbin Drive for Fort Tryon Park and Latourette Park all around.
