Government budget mismatched for testing

COVID-19 is a massive undertaking task requires budget and manpower. Both NY and NYC is focusing on the budget but check the comparison between private and public.

Pro - private testing costs money and insurance involvement and much more advantage for relief. Government has no role or control for testing here as long as people pays for the testing.

Con - the government provides free testing and walk-ins are risky so very few medical workers signed up for the task. So far, both state and the city has not successfully implemented free testing for seniors who doesn't have vehicles or unable to leave their home. There are no home visit testing either. Example, 70% of Brooklyn doesn't have vehicles. The budget is a massive undertaking. This is where the math is weak by elected officials to help the public.

The Con is where the highest tested positive and deaths reported by both state and the city data released to the public. Private companies are not required to release data unless subpoena issued.
