From Glen Oaks to New Hyde Park going

The Citizens Bank inside the Glen Oaks Shopping Center is closing for good. The last day is October 17, 2024 at 5pm as per their announcement officially. The new location will be at the New Hyde Park Commons Shopping Center on the corner of New Hyde Park Road and Union Turnpike where the bank already exits.

At one time, the entire New Hyde Park shopping lot was on the market for $8 million. The new asking price is $3 million for the ground lease. The 14,651 square feet has the following tenants, Starbucks, Verizon Wireless, Ctizen Bank and the newly arrived Karako Suits.

The lot was built in 1999.
