Four cops assaulted in Woodside

Police were called to Roosevelt Avenue and 52nd Street inside 7 train heading to Main Street reporting a perp was assaulting passengers.

When the train stopped with NYPD personnel intervening, the suspect attacked four cops and then was pushed down to the ground after resisting arrest.

The suspect has been taken into custody. Charges are pending.
