Four candidates announced for the Mayoral race from the other side

Three new names, Joe Alny, Darren Dione Aquino and Montell Moseley announced their candidacy for the Mayoral race under the Republican line.

For the Independent line, the name making heads turning inside the city agencies from FDNY, NYPD to DSNY is Jim Walden.

Walden stated all city workers who didn't take COVID-19 shots will be hired back to work if elected with back pay.

For the Democratic side, the biggest name making wave is Whitney Tilson, a former hedge fund manager running in the primary, called “defund the police” the “three dumbest words of all time.”

As for Eric Adams, well look at this,

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee called on Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, NYC Mayor Eric Adams, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson to testify before Congress as part of an investigation into sanctuary cities.

More name for the Mayoral race is expected to be announced in the coming weeks in NYC.
