Forest Hills woman busted for fake PE stamp to get building permits approved

Evelyn Dellutri, 55 of Forest Hills was busted and charged with forgery, perjury, false instrument, false filing and falsifying business records, possession of stolen property and other charges. According to NYC Dept of Investigation, several documents on engineering was submitted to the building department with fake PE, professional engineering stamp belonging to Dellutri name.

An anonymous tip was received and investigation started in November 2014 until August 2015. More than 70 documents were for new construction in Queens which were submitted to the building department with fake PE stamp under a fraudulent company, Evelsons Consultant, Inc. All the works were put on hold and stopped after the arrest.

The investigation continues with building department in collaboration with the Queens District Attorney's Office.
